After more than 17 years being in the Immigration Industry/Business, I realized that most of our employees’ valuable time is spent typing and re-typing forms, and answering clients’ questions. Lawyers and Certified Immigration consultants have to pay $35,000 or more a year for each legal assistant.
However, if we do not review documents, type forms, and answer unlimited questions in this business, we are lost.
I worked at a firm with a department of 4 people dedicated only to typing forms, a HUGE budget!!! And the worst part is that this job does not bring forth money when compared to a sales/advisor team.
In my own experience, when I got my ICCRC license, I was so happy getting started with 2 to 5 clients per month, but I soon realized that serving 5 clients on a daily basis did not allow enough time to find more clients. As a result, I could not grow the business.
The solution? To hire a legal assistant, right? However, I had a small business and I could not afford a $2,500 legal assistant for myself. I had to find another solution because I would soon be out of the market. What to do?Type your paragraph here.
